Born in 1956 in Florida, Craig Sofaly has been devoted to the arts from a young age. Versatile and prolific, he attended university in fine arts in the 1970s, where he specialized in sculpture and drawing. A professional guitarist and member of the rock band The Hi-Tops, he also performed on the West Coast of the United States while participating in exhibitions. After living in Idaho, Hawaii, and California, the American artist decided to settle in France in the 1990s. In Paris, he joined avant-garde artist squats and then shared a studio at the Vincennes Zoo with a tiger named Cathy. At the dawn of the 2000s, he decided to take a break from art to devote himself entirely to musical creation. Fifteen years later, Craig Sofaly has returned to drawing and sculpture, his ultimate means of expression.

His works are exhibited and collected in Europe and in the United States.
